Nothing really exciting happened, but Cedric’s preschool had their annual fall festival this year and we took the kids. They have it at a local farm, Kimball Farm. It’s a fun place if you need something to do this weekend! They have a kids hay maze (Cedric loved this!), animals, a hayride, a GIANT corn maze and the favorite of everyone…..pumpkin launchers!

Look at my adorable children. You would never know that 2 seconds after this happy moment Cedric was trying to push Sophia down. Sibling love. LOL

Isn’t she getting big? She informed me two weeks ago that she wanted to grow her hair and her bangs out so she could have (and I quote) “long pretty hair!”. So, we’re trying it out. She looks so different without her bangs!

more sibling love.

The kids running through the hay maze. We could barely get Cedric away from here. He was fascinated with running through it. You can also see a corner of the corn maze in the background. We were going to go, but they said it takes about 2 hours to do and at that point we had already been there for almost 2 hours and the kids were starting to get hungry. Maybe next year!

Cedric, with my ever-growing belly as a backdrop, on our hayride. We went with a bunch of people from preschool and it was a lot of fun, but very, very crowded! They have 3 or 4 giant Belgian horses that they use to do pull the carts. The kids were fascinated with how big these horses were.

I believe this would be right around the time Cedric yelled “Cow! I PET YOU!” and proceeded to do just that. The best part, the cow moo’ed quite loudly at Cedric and instead of being scared Cedric moo’ed right back at him. He thought the animals were great. And Jared and I were laughing because he kept calling the goats “moose” because they had horns.

Potato launching! They had two launchers (basically bungie cords!)…one kid sized and one adult sized. The kids got to launch potatoes. It was so funny to watch!

And here’s Daddy launching his pumpkin. It went over 300 feet! The kids thought it was hysterical to watch Daddy do it.

I grew up in Westford, and was astounded when I visited my parents last year to see how much they’ve expanded Kimballs. I want to do the bumper boats sometime.
